Raw Chocolate bars made with cacao, coconut & chia seeds.
  • 100g cacao butter
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • ½ cup cacao powder
  • ⅛ teaspoon himalayan pink salt
  • ¼ cup raisins
  • ¼ cup of raw macadamia pieces
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 3 tablespoons of chia seeds
  • 5 tablespoons of water
  1. Line a brownie tray with baking paper and set aside.
  2. Place the chia seeds and water into a mug and set aside.
  3. Place the cacao butter in a saucepan and heat on medium heat until cacao butter has melted then remove from heat to allow to cool down.
  4. Add the maple syrup to the cooled cacao butter and stir till mixed.
  5. Stir in the salt and cacao until well combined.
  6. At this point, the chia seeds should have soaked up the water leaving you with a jelly like mass of chia seeds (if not, wait five minutes before continuing with the next step).
  7. Mix in the chia seeds (and stir with a spoon - breaking them up where necessary to ensure there are no large jelly like clusters of chia seeds)
  8. Mix in the shredded coconut, raisins and macadamia pieces.
  9. Pour the mixture evenly into the brownie tray.
  10. Place in the fridge to set for at least 5 hours.
  11. Once set, you can remove the chocolate from the brownie tray and cut into bars or squares.
  12. Store the chocolate in the refrigerator to prevent it from melting. Enjoy x M
