Chilli & Lime Cashews
Paleo Princess: 
 
Crunchy roasted cashews nuts with a slighty sweet, slighty tangy taste.
Ingredients
  • 1½ cups raw cashew nuts
  • 3 tablespoons raw honey
  • 1 tablespoon hot water
  • 1-2 Tablespoons Chilli & Lime Yumpowder
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 150 degrees celsius
  2. In a small mug mix hot water with honey until well combined and then set aside
  3. Place cashews on a baking tray
  4. Place cashews in oven for 5-7 minutes
  5. Transfer the cashews nuts to a bowl and add the honey mixture and toss until well combined.
  6. Place the cashews back on the baking tray.
  7. Place tray back in the oven for 10-15 minutes until lightly golden. (Important - remove tray from the oven at the 6 minute mark and toss the cashews around on the baking tray to prevent the cashews from burning and to ensure that they are well coated in honey).
  8. Remove cashews from oven and place in a bowl.
  9. Mix through Yumpowder and allow to cool.
  10. You can store in the fridge and prior to serving, break apart any cashews that have stuck together.
